Description
Make quick and easy strawberry freezer jam with only five ingredients and no pectin.

- 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and crushed
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Combine the crushed strawberries, lemon juice, and water in a large saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch.
- Gradually whisk the sugar mixture into the simmering strawberry mixture until fully dissolved.
- Continue to simmer for another 5-10 minutes, or until the jam thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Pour the jam into clean jars, leaving 1/2 inch of headspace.
- Wipe the rims clean and seal with lids.
- Let cool completely at room temperature.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks or in the freezer for up to 1 year.
Notes
- For a smoother jam, you can use an immersion blender to blend the strawberries before cooking.
- Adjust the sugar to your preferred sweetness.
- Make sure the jars are clean and dry before filling.
