Spicy Sriracha Chicken Wings are a flavor-packed appetizer or main dish, perfect for game days or any get-together. These wings offer a delightful balance of heat and savory goodness.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
- 1/2 cup Sriracha sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the Sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce.
- Arrange the coated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Flip the wings and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- For crispier wings, you can place them on a wire rack set inside the baking sheet.
- Adjust the amount of Sriracha sauce to control the spice level.
- You can also grill or air fry these wings for a different texture.
