- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Pour this mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
