- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
- 8 ounces ham, sliced
- 8 ounces salami, sliced
- 8 ounces pepperoni, sliced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
- 1/4 cup Italian dressing
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the Italian bread in half horizontally.
- In a large bowl, combine the provolone cheese, ham, salami, pepperoni, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, black olives, and banana peppers.
- Add the Italian dressing and mayonnaise to the bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Chop all the ingredients together using a knife or mezzaluna until finely chopped.
- Spread the chopped mixture evenly over the bottom half of the Italian bread.
- Place the top half of the bread over the filling.
- Slice the sandwich into individual portions.
- Serve immediately.
