- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine beef slices with soy sauce and cornstarch. Toss to coat and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add beef and cook until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets and beef broth. Cook, stirring, for 3-5 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Return beef to the skillet.
- Stir in oyster sauce and sesame oil.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
