- 1.5 oz Tequila Blanco
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Agave Nectar
- 4-5 Fresh Mint Leaves
- 1 cup Seedless Watermelon, cubed
- Ice cubes
- Watermelon wedge and mint sprig for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the cubed watermelon and mint leaves. Blend until smooth. Strain the watermelon juice to remove pulp and seeds, if desired.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves gently.
- Add tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and 1/4 cup of the strained watermelon juice to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake well until the outside of the shaker is chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a margarita glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a watermelon wedge and a fresh mint sprig.
Notes
- For a frozen margarita, blend all ingredients with plenty of ice.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less agave nectar.
- If you don’t have a blender, you can muddle the watermelon thoroughly and strain the juice.
