Description

Make fun Valentine Oreo Pops with your kids. This simple treat is perfect for a sweet holiday activity.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 ounces) Oreo cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound white chocolate melting wafers
  • Red and pink food coloring (optional)
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Valentine sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Place Oreos in a food processor and crush into fine crumbs.
  2. In a bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese until fully combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball.
  5. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the white chocolate wafers according to package directions.
  7. If desired, divide the melted chocolate and tint small portions with food coloring.
  8. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely.
  9. Immediately sprinkle with Valentine sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  10. Place pops back on the parchment paper.
  11. Chill until the chocolate is firm before serving.

Notes

  • If you do not have a food processor, place Oreos in a sturdy zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for easy mixing.
  • Work quickly when dipping the pops so they do not warm up too much.
  • You can use milk or dark chocolate instead of white chocolate.
