Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 8 ounces fontina cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, fontina, and provolone cubes in a medium bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, chopped basil, oregano, thyme, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the herb mixture over the cheese cubes. Gently toss to coat all the cheese.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled with crackers or bread.
