Description
Create a festive and easy Thanksgiving Punch. This recipe combines classic fall flavors like cranberry and orange, making it perfect for serving a crowd at your holiday gathering. You can easily adapt this recipe to be alcoholic or non-alcoholic.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 cups Cranberry Juice
- 4 cups Apple Cider
- 2 cups Orange Juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
- 1 cup Sparkling Water or Ginger Ale (chilled)
- 1 Orange, thinly sliced for garnish
- 1 cup Fresh Cranberries for garnish
- Optional: 1.5 cups Vodka or White Rum (for alcoholic version)
Instructions
- Chill all juices and sparkling water thoroughly before mixing.
- In a very large punch bowl, combine the cranberry juice, apple cider, and orange juice. Stir well.
- If making the alcoholic version, stir in the vodka or rum now.
- Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled sparkling water or ginger ale. Stir lightly to combine without losing carbonation.
- Garnish the punch bowl with thin orange slices and fresh cranberries floating on top.
- Serve immediately over ice.
Notes
- Prepare the juice base (without sparkling water) up to 24 hours ahead. Store covered in the refrigerator.
- Add ice ring or frozen fruit instead of loose ice cubes to keep the punch cold without diluting the flavor quickly.
- For a non-alcoholic option, use ginger ale for added sweetness and fizz.
