Description

A refreshing Summer Fruit Sangria featuring peaches and berries, perfect for warm weather gatherings. This delightful drink combines fresh fruit, wine, and a touch of sweetness for a vibrant pitcher.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1/4 cup brandy or triple sec
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, brandy or triple sec, and orange juice.
  2. Add the granulated sugar and stir until dissolved.
  3. Gently add the sliced peaches, mixed berries, sliced orange, and sliced lemon to the pitcher.
  4. Stir everything together gently.
  5. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes.
  7. Pour the sangria over the ice, making sure to include some of the fruit in each glass.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs, if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less sugar.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute white grape juice for the wine and omit the brandy.
  • You can use frozen fruit if fresh fruit is not available, but thaw it slightly before adding.
  • Experiment with different types of wine and fruits to create your own unique sangria flavors.
