Description

A zesty and flavorful spicy tuna wrap, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1-2 teaspoons sriracha or chili paste (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 large whole wheat tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup sliced bell pepper (any color)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha or chili paste, chopped celery, chopped red onion, and fresh dill (if using).
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to your preference.
  4. Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface.
  5. Divide the tuna salad evenly between the two tortillas, spreading it down the center of each.
  6. Top the tuna salad with shredded lettuce, sliced cucumber, and sliced bell pepper.
  7. Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then tightly roll them up from the bottom.
  8. Slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the tuna salad.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for some or all of the mayonnaise for a lighter option.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like shredded carrots or avocado.
