This dip is a classic, easy, and very popular hot dip. It is a simple recipe with few ingredients that is a guaranteed party hit.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound spicy sausage
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened


Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off excess grease.
  2. Add the undrained Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies to the skillet with the sausage. Stir to combine.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet. Break it into smaller pieces to help it melt faster.
  4. Stir constantly until the cream cheese is completely melted and the dip is smooth and creamy.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite chips, crackers, or vegetables.
