- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Grand Marnier)
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 star anise
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, brandy, and orange liqueur. Stir well.
- Add the sliced apple, pear, and orange to the pitcher.
- Toss in the cinnamon stick and star anise.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, fill glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour the sangria over the ice.
- Garnish with fresh fruit slices if desired.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, replace the wine and brandy with more apple cider and a splash of sparkling apple juice.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding a touch of maple syrup if you prefer.
