Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Grand Marnier)
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 star anise
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, brandy, and orange liqueur. Stir well.
  2. Add the sliced apple, pear, and orange to the pitcher.
  3. Toss in the cinnamon stick and star anise.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, fill glasses with ice cubes.
  6. Pour the sangria over the ice.
  7. Garnish with fresh fruit slices if desired.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace the wine and brandy with more apple cider and a splash of sparkling apple juice.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding a touch of maple syrup if you prefer.
  • You can add other fall fruits like cranberries or pomegranates.
