Description

These smoked salmon deviled eggs are a gourmet twist on a classic appetizer. They are perfect for elegant gatherings and feature creamy egg yolks blended with savory smoked salmon and fresh dill.


Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and halved lengthwise
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 ounces smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped, plus more for garnish
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Carefully remove the yolks from the hard-boiled egg whites. Place the yolks in a medium bowl.
  2. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
  3. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and fresh lemon juice to the mashed yolks. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  4. Fold in the finely chopped smoked salmon and fresh dill.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  7. Garnish with additional fresh dill before serving.

Notes

  • For a smoother filling, you can pass the mashed yolks through a fine-mesh sieve before mixing in other ingredients.
