Description

Make these easy smoked salmon cucumber bites for a quick, elegant appetizer. They feature a creamy dill spread and a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning for maximum flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumber into half-inch thick rounds. Pat the slices dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped smoked salmon into the cream cheese mixture. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
  4. Spoon or pipe the smoked salmon mixture onto each cucumber round.
  5. Sprinkle the top of each bite generously with everything bagel seasoning.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for up to one hour before serving.

Notes

  • Use high-quality, cold-smoked salmon for the best texture.
  • If you do not have fresh dill, use one teaspoon of dried dill, but fresh is preferred.
  • For a firmer spread, chill the cream cheese mixture for 15 minutes before assembling.
