Description

Smoked Jalapeño Popper Dip is a creamy, smoky, and spicy dip perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 4-6 fresh jalapeños, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese, smoked Gouda, minced jalapeños, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into a cast iron skillet or other oven-safe dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix panko bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the dip.
  6. Smoke for 45-60 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  7. Serve hot with crackers, chips, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of jalapeños to control the spice level.
  • For extra smoky flavor, use smoked bacon.
  • If you don’t have a smoker, you can bake the dip in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
