- 1 lb salmon fillet
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Cooked rice for serving
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, sliced green onions, steamed broccoli
Instructions
- Cut salmon into 1-inch cubes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add salmon cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly browned.
- Pour teriyaki sauce over salmon and simmer for 3-5 minutes, until sauce thickens and coats the salmon.
- Serve salmon and sauce over cooked rice.
- Add optional toppings as desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the teriyaki sauce for 15-30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey and brown sugar.
- Use low-sodium soy sauce if you prefer.
