Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the dry cake mix, water, oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is still warm, use the end of a wooden spoon or a chopstick to poke holes all over the top, about 1 inch apart.
