Description

A delightful Pesto Tuna Pasta Salad, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal. This recipe combines tender pasta, flaky tuna, and vibrant pesto for a fresh twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta (penne, rotini, or farfalle)
  • 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, drained tuna, pesto sauce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and Kalamata olives.
  3. Gently toss to coat all ingredients with the pesto.
  4. Stir in the chopped fresh basil.
