Description
Make this quick, sweet and salty peanut butter pretzel bark with minimal effort. It sets fast and provides maximum crunch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 8 ounces white chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups mini pretzels, lightly crushed
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until completely smooth.
- Stir in the crushed pretzels until they are evenly coated with the peanut butter chocolate mixture.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet into an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals until smooth. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
- Immediately sprinkle the powdered sugar lightly over the top of the bark.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the bark is completely firm.
- Break the hardened bark into irregular pieces before serving or storing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add 1/4 cup of chopped salted peanuts along with the pretzels.
- If you prefer a cleaner drizzle, place the melted white chocolate into a small piping bag or a zip-top bag with a corner snipped off.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
