  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, gently toss the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Spread this mixture evenly into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Pour the milk into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the melted butter into the batter and stir until smooth.
