Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup crisped rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped toasted hazelnuts
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate, melted (for coating)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the hazelnut spread, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder. Mix until smooth.
  2. Stir in the crisped rice cereal and chopped hazelnuts until everything is evenly coated with the chocolate mixture.
  3. Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, or drizzle the chocolate over the tops.
  7. Return the coated balls to the parchment-lined sheet.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate coating is set.
