Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt.
- Gradually add warm water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 2-3 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a round disc, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan over medium heat.
- Cook each bread disc for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and puffed up.
- Serve warm.
