- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 12 slider buns
- 12 slices provolone cheese
- 24 black olives, sliced (for eyes)
- 24 pieces of string cheese (for mummy wrap)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the mummy wrap. Cut the string cheese into thin strips.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven.
- In a small saucepan, warm the marinara sauce.
- Cut a slit in the top of each meatball and insert two olive slices for eyes.
- Wrap the string cheese strips around each meatball to resemble a mummy.
- Place the wrapped meatballs in the marinara sauce and gently toss to coat.
- Toast the slider buns.
- Place one mummy meatball on each slider bun.
- Top each meatball with a slice of provolone cheese.
- Briefly place the sliders under the broiler for about 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

- You can use pre-made mini meatballs to save time.
- Get creative with the mummy wrap by crisscrossing the cheese strips.
- Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
