Description

These Mini Caprese Salad Skewers are a light and refreshing appetizer perfect for any summer gathering. They combine fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil, drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser!


Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 1 pint fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
  2. Thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball, and one folded basil leaf onto each small skewer.
  3. Arrange the skewers on a platter.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
  5. Season with salt and pepper if desired.

Notes

  • You can make these skewers a few hours ahead of time. Store them covered in the refrigerator.
  • Add a drizzle of olive oil along with the balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
  • For a different twist, try adding a small piece of prosciutto to each skewer.
