Description
You need a crowd-pleasing appetizer fast? This creamy, cheesy Million Dollar Dip, also known as Neiman Marcus Dip, comes together in just five minutes with minimal ingredients. It is the perfect game day snack or party dip.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (scallions)
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted (optional)
- 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch seasoning mix (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions
- Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream into a medium mixing bowl. Beat them together until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, and chopped green onions. If you are using the dry ranch seasoning mix, add it now and mix well.
- If you choose to include almonds, gently fold in the toasted sliced almonds last.
- Cover the bowl and chill the Million Dollar Dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to blend.
- Serve your creamy cheese spread with your favorite crackers, potato chips, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- For the best flavor, make sure your cream cheese is truly at room temperature before mixing.
- This dip is best served cold, so plan to keep it chilled until serving time.
- You can substitute Monterey Jack for some of the cheddar if you prefer a milder cheese flavor.
