Description

These Million Dollar Bacon Deviled Eggs transform a classic appetizer into an unforgettable, indulgent bite. Crispy bacon, creamy yolks, and a touch of sweetness create a rich flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Smoked paprika for garnish
  • Fresh chives, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan. Cover with cold water by 1 inch.
  2. Bring water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  3. Once boiling, immediately remove the pan from heat, cover, and let stand for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Drain the hot water and transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to stop cooking.
  5. Carefully peel the cooled eggs. Slice each egg in half lengthwise.
  6. Gently scoop out the yolks into a medium bowl. Place the egg white halves on a platter.
  7. Mash the egg yolks with a fork until smooth.
  8. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Mix until creamy and well combined.
  9. Stir in most of the crumbled bacon, reserving some for garnish.
  10. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  11. Garnish with the reserved crumbled bacon, a sprinkle of smoked paprika, and chopped chives if desired.
  12. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • For easier peeling, use eggs that are a few days old.
  • Adjust mayonnaise and mustard to your taste preference.
  • For extra flavor, cook the bacon until very crispy.
