Description
Sweet and spreadable strawberry freezer jam with less sugar.
Ingredients

- 4 cups crushed strawberries
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 box no-sugar-needed pectin
Instructions
- Wash and hull strawberries. Crush strawberries using a potato masher or food processor.
- Measure exactly 4 cups of crushed strawberries into a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix sugar and pectin.
- Gradually stir the sugar and pectin mixture into the crushed strawberries until well combined. Stir for 3 minutes.
- Ladle jam into clean freezer-safe containers, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
- Wipe the rims clean and seal with lids.
- Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours to set.
- Store in the freezer for up to 1 year or in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
Notes
- Use ripe, fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
- Do not reduce the amount of sugar further, as it affects the set of the jam.
- Make sure to use no-sugar-needed pectin.
