- 2 lbs French Fries (frozen or fresh)
- 1 lb Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
- 1 packet Taco Seasoning
- 1/2 cup Water
- 8 oz Shredded Cheddar-Jack Cheese
- 1/2 cup Sliced Black Olives
- 1/2 cup Chopped Jalapeños
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream (for topping)
- 2 tbsp Chopped Cilantro (for garnish)
- Salsa (for serving)
Instructions
- Bake or fry the French fries according to package directions until golden brown and crispy.
- While fries cook, brown the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the cooked meat. Simmer until the liquid reduces, about 5 minutes.
- Spread the cooked fries onto a large oven-safe platter or baking sheet.
- Spoon the seasoned meat evenly over the fries.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese, black olives, and jalapeños over the meat.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5-8 minutes, or until the cheese melts completely.
- Remove from the oven. Top with dollops of sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately with salsa on the side. Enjoy your creation!
