Description
Enjoy these incredibly tender and flavorful garlic butter steak bites. They are perfect as an appetizer or a main course, offering a burst of rich, savory taste in every bite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter to the same skillet.
- Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Return the seared steak bites to the skillet. Toss them in the garlic butter to coat evenly.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the steak to absorb the garlic butter flavor.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use a good quality sirloin steak.
- Do not overcrowd the pan when searing the steak to ensure a good sear.
- Adjust cooking time based on your preferred level of doneness.
- Feel free to add a splash of white wine or a squeeze of lemon juice to the garlic butter for extra flavor.
