Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • Eggs, oil, and water as per cake mix instructions
  • 1 can chocolate frosting
  • 1 large marshmallow
  • 2 small marshmallows
  • 2 chocolate chips
  • Pink sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
  2. Bake cake in a loaf pan and a small round cake pan.
  3. Let cakes cool completely.
  4. Cut the loaf cake to resemble a rat’s body.
  5. Cut the round cake to resemble a rat’s head.
  6. Attach the head to the body using frosting.
  7. Frost the entire cake with chocolate frosting.
  8. Use the large marshmallow for the nose.
  9. Use the small marshmallows for the eyes.
  10. Attach chocolate chips to the small marshmallows for pupils.
  11. Use pink sprinkles to create a tail.
  12. Decorate with additional frosting or candies as desired.
