Description
Make tender-crisp broccoli with a sweet and tangy honey mustard glaze using this simple roasting method.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
- Place the broccoli florets in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
- Pour the honey mustard glaze over the oiled broccoli. Toss again until all florets are well coated.
- Spread the coated broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the broccoli is tender and the edges are slightly caramelized.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder to the glaze mixture.
- If you prefer a spicier flavor, substitute half of the Dijon mustard with whole grain mustard.
- If you are using an air fryer, cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
