Ingredients

  • 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Place the broccoli florets in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Pour the honey mustard glaze over the oiled broccoli. Toss again until all florets are well coated.
  5. Spread the coated broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  6. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the broccoli is tender and the edges are slightly caramelized.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder to the glaze mixture.
  • If you prefer a spicier flavor, substitute half of the Dijon mustard with whole grain mustard.
  • If you are using an air fryer, cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
