Description

Sweet and spicy grilled chicken skewers with a delicious honey sriracha glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger powder, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Soaking wooden skewers prevents them from burning on the grill.
  • Do not over-marinate the chicken, as the acidity can break down the protein.
  • Adjust the amount of sriracha to your desired level of spice.
