Description
Sweet and spicy grilled chicken skewers with a delicious honey sriracha glaze.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger powder, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill the chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Soaking wooden skewers prevents them from burning on the grill.
- Do not over-marinate the chicken, as the acidity can break down the protein.
- Adjust the amount of sriracha to your desired level of spice.
