Description

Whip up these delightful Gingerbread Oreo Truffles for your holiday gatherings! They’re easy to make and taste like Christmas in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Gingerbread Oreo cookies
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon gingerbread spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 12 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Crushed gingerbread cookies or festive sprinkles, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Crush the Gingerbread Oreos into fine crumbs. A food processor works best.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Stir in the gingerbread spice, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. Mix until the spices are evenly distributed.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Freeze the truffle balls for at least 15-30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the white chocolate. You can do this in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval. If using, stir in the coconut oil for a smoother consistency.
  7. Dip each frozen truffle ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  8. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with crushed gingerbread cookies or festive sprinkles.
  10. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Notes

  • For a stronger gingerbread flavor, you can add an extra 1/4 teaspoon of gingerbread spice.
  • If you don’t have gingerbread Oreos, you can use regular Oreos and add more gingerbread spices to the cream cheese mixture.
  • Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
