- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the creamy garlic parmesan sauce evenly over the chicken breasts.
- If using, sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top of the sauce.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
