Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add the milk, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat it into a 1-inch thick round.
  6. Cut the round into 8 wedges. Place the wedges on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
