Description

Easy and delicious scrambled cookies.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together butter and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the dough.
  • You can substitute other mix-ins for the chocolate chips, such as nuts or dried fruit.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
