Description

Enjoy these incredibly easy and cheesy quesadillas, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. They are a delightful way to bring a touch of gourmet to your everyday cooking.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil
  • Optional fillings: cooked chicken, beans, salsa, sour cream


Instructions

  1. Lay one tortilla flat. Sprinkle half of the cheese over one half of the tortilla.
  2. Add any optional fillings over the cheese.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the fillings.
  4. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the fillings to create a half-moon shape.
  5. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Carefully place the quesadilla in the hot skillet.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
  8. Remove from skillet, cut into wedges, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush the outside of the tortilla with melted butter before cooking.
  • Experiment with different cheese combinations and fillings to find your favorite.
