- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup snap peas
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the beef slices with soy sauce and cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Return the beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables.
- Stir and cook until the sauce thickens and coats everything, about 1-2 minutes.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
