Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup snap peas
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the beef slices with soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
  5. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables.
  8. Stir and cook until the sauce thickens and coats everything, about 1-2 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately over cooked rice.
