Indulge in this rich Double Chocolate Hot Fudge Brownie Bread, a decadent dessert that perfectly blends the gooeyness of brownies with the comforting texture of bread. It’s a truly delightful treat for any chocolate lover.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup hot fudge sauce, plus more for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle with half of the hot fudge sauce.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the top and drizzle with the remaining hot fudge sauce.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature, with extra hot fudge sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For an extra fudgy texture, you can add an extra tablespoon of cocoa powder.
  • Ensure your buttermilk is at room temperature for best results.
  • If you don’t have buttermilk, you can make your own by mixing 1 cup of milk with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or white vinegar and letting it sit for 5-10 minutes.
