Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 thin pork cutlets (about 4-6 oz each)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork cutlets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, whisk eggs with water.
  4. In a third shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese (if using).
  5. Dredge each pork cutlet in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  6. Dip the floured cutlet into the egg mixture, letting excess drip off.
  7. Coat the cutlet thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  8. Lightly brush or spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  9. Place the breaded cutlets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary.
  10. Lightly spray or brush the tops of the cutlets with oil.
  11. Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  12. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ensure pork cutlets are thin for even cooking.
