- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg

Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the fresh spinach to the pot in batches, stirring until it wilts down completely.
- Pour in the broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Remove the pot from the heat. Carefully transfer the soup mixture to a blender (or use an immersion blender). Blend until completely smooth.
- Return the pureed soup to the pot. Stir in the heavy cream and nutmeg.
- Heat gently until warmed through. Do not boil after adding cream.
- Season with salt and pepper to your liking. Serve hot.
