- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with 1/4 cup of the granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour this mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the milk to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly over the peach mixture in the baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the batter.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the cobbler is bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
