  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with 1/4 cup of the granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour this mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the milk to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter evenly over the peach mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the batter.
  7. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the cobbler is bubbly.
