Description

A simple and delicious recipe for classic deviled eggs, perfect for any occasion. These creamy and flavorful deviled eggs are a crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
  2. Bring water to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain hot water and immediately fill the pan with ice water to cool the eggs.
  4. Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  5. Remove the yolks and mash them in a bowl.
  6. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and white vinegar to the mashed yolks.
  7. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  10. Garnish with paprika before serving.

Notes

  • For creamier deviled eggs, use full-fat mayonnaise.
  • Adjust the amount of mustard and vinegar to your preference.
  • You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat.
  • Fresh chives or parsley can be used for garnish instead of paprika.
