Description

You can make this creamy, cheesy Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole for a quick and satisfying weeknight dinner. It features tender chicken smothered in a rich sauce, topped with fluffy, pull-apart biscuit pieces. This recipe delivers pure comfort food ease.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, plus more for topping
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count), cut into quarters

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375F (190C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and sour cream. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  3. Stir in the 1 cup of cheddar cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper into the chicken mixture.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Arrange the quartered biscuit pieces randomly over the top of the chicken mixture, leaving small gaps between them so they can expand and ‘bubble.’
  6. Sprinkle a little extra cheddar cheese over the biscuits.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy the pull-apart biscuits!

Notes

  • Using rotisserie chicken speeds up the prep time significantly.
  • You can substitute other condensed soups like cream of celery if desired.
  • For extra flavor, mix 1 tablespoon of dried parsley into the chicken base.
  • Cut the biscuits small so they puff up nicely around the edges.
