Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread into 1-inch cubes, cutting about three-quarters of the way down, leaving the bottom intact.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the butter mixture evenly over the bread slices, ensuring it gets into the cuts.
  5. Stuff the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese into the cuts of the bread.
  6. Wrap the bread tightly in aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Carefully open the foil and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is slightly crisp.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy the pull-apart goodness!
