Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough lengthwise into 12 even strips.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over both sides of each dough strip.
- Arrange the strips on the prepared baking sheet, keeping them slightly separated.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the breadsticks are lightly golden brown.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and then the mozzarella cheese over the warm breadsticks.
- Return the breadsticks to the oven for 2 to 3 minutes, just until the mozzarella cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of dried oregano to the butter mixture.
- You can use pre-minced garlic, but fresh garlic provides the best taste.
- These are best served immediately after baking.
