- 1 cup eggnog

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, eggnog, heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Arrange the bread slices in the eggnog mixture, letting them soak for about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Heat a lightly buttered griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place soaked bread slices on the hot griddle.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the French toast slices as they cook.
- Once the bottom is golden brown and the cheese has started to melt, carefully flip the French toast.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the French toast.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted and gooey.
