- 1 cup caramel bits or unwrapped caramels
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.
- Slice the apples into wedges, removing the core.
- Place caramel bits or caramels and milk/cream in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave on high for 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
- Dip each apple slice into the melted caramel, coating one side.
- Immediately sprinkle the caramel-coated side with chopped nuts.
- Place the caramel apple slices on parchment paper to set.
- Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving.
