Ingredients

  • 1 cup caramel bits or unwrapped caramels
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)


Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.
  2. Slice the apples into wedges, removing the core.
  3. Place caramel bits or caramels and milk/cream in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Microwave on high for 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
  5. Dip each apple slice into the melted caramel, coating one side.
  6. Immediately sprinkle the caramel-coated side with chopped nuts.
  7. Place the caramel apple slices on parchment paper to set.
  8. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes
