Description

Enjoy these spicy and flavorful Buffalo cauliflower bites, a perfect meatless alternative to traditional wings. Made in the air fryer in just 20 minutes, they are an ideal appetizer for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing, for serving
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Gradually whisk in the water until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets to the batter and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Arrange the battered cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. While the cauliflower is cooking, prepare the Buffalo sauce: In a small saucepan, combine the hot sauce, melted butter, and white vinegar. Heat over medium heat until warmed through.
  8. Once the cauliflower is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl.
  9. Pour the Buffalo sauce over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
  10. Serve immediately with ranch dressing and fresh parsley for garnish.

Notes

  • For extra crispy cauliflower, you can lightly spray the florets with cooking oil before air frying.
  • Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preferred level of spice.
  • Other dipping sauces like blue cheese dressing can be used instead of ranch.
